Aayojan School of Architecture & Design(ASAD) was established in Pune, in September 2012. It is approved by Council of Architecture (CoA) and Govt of Maharashtra, and is affiliated to University of Pune.

The institute embarked on its journey on 05 September 2012, Teachers’ Day, also the auspicious birthday of Dr. S Radhakrishnan, former President of India and doyen of education.

Pune has had many avatars over the centuries. Erstwhile capital of the Maratha Empire, it is steeped with living history. Over the years, it morphed into a major manufacturing hub with the suburb of Pimpri Chinchwad breaking global records in expansion. Now it is moving towards acquiring a big stake in the IT industry.

Somewhere along the way, it also quietly made a name for itself in the field of education. Pune University is one of the premier educational bodies in the country and it attracts students, not only from all corners of India, but from abroad as well. It is vibrant, energetic and the ideal location for a student seeking to arm himself or herself for a professional career. Aayojan’s decision to establish an architectural school has been based on all these factors.

A sylvan setting for a noble endeavour

With due deference to the historical heritage of the city, the college has acquired land near the foothills of Purandar, site of many a memorable incident that form part of our history. Steeply contoured, the land is picturesque and an ideal setting for an educational institute. It is far away from the hustle and bustle of a major city, but near enough to be reached without undue bother.

 The first steps.....

Already a team of knowledgeable, enthusiastic and dedicated faculty has been put together. The first batchs of students are reaping the benefits of the established Aayojan methodology, now with a touch of Pune added to it. They will be the trendsetters, who will go on to do good work in a new geographical setting.
