Second year students and faculty attended a unique workshop and hands – on session co – ordinated by Ar. Satyendra Bhagat to explore natural building techniques and construction of the ‘Rohtak’ dome – a specialized, hyperboloid shallow dome built without formwork or centering. The students interacted with the traditional craftsmen and allow tried their hand at the brick masonry involved.
