ADMISSION PROCESS

FOR B.ARCH COURSE AT ASAD, PUNE

Duration: Five Years

Eligibility: 10 + 2 – science Stream with PCM group pass  OR 10 + 3 – with Mathematics; Entrance Test – Qualify (NATA, JEEE – Paper 2)

Intake: 80 (Eighty)

Centralized Admission Process is conducted by DTE (Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Maharashtra)  website : www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in

 

Eligibility Criteria (B.Arch) is as follows : 

  • 10 + 2 – science Stream with PCM group pass 
  • OR 10 + 3 – with Mathematics 
  • Entrance Test – Qualify (NATA, JEEE – Paper 2)

 

The following types of candidates can apply :

MH Candidate – Maharashtra State Candidate

  • Type A
    • Candidate passing 10th and 12th Examination from Maharashtra
    • Candidate’s domicile is Maharashtra State 

 

  • Type B. 
    • Candidate who does not fall  in Type A but his father or Mother Domicile is Maharashtra 

 

  • Type C
    • A Candidate who does not fall in either Type A or Type B but whose father or mother is an employee of the Government of India.

 

  • Type D
    • A Candidate who does not fall in any of the above Type A, Type B and Type C but whose father or mother is an employee or retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking.
  • OMS Candidate : Out of Maharashtra State Candidate
  • Minority Candidate 
  • NRI Candidate 
  • Foreign Candidate 

 

Preparation of Merit list  

The candidate has to fulfill the following minimum criteria Eg . Candidate A has got 60 % in 12th & NATA
– 130
Merit Score.  60 + (130/2) = 125

Steps of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).– 
1. Display or publishing of Information Brochure by the Competent Authority;
2. Filling Online Application Form by Candidate for participation in the Centralised Admission
Process

a) Candidate can edit/update the information in his application form before he submits the
form.Uploading of scanned images of valid necessary original
b) documents as per the requirement of the admission while filling of online application form;
c) The candidate shall take printout of the submitted application form and sign it.
3. Document Verification at Facilitation Centre by the Candidate through the method prescribed by
the Competent Authority for this purpose. It is mandatory on the candidate’s part to produce all
original documents in support of the claim made in the application form.
4. Due to COVID-19 outbreak and present lockdown, and to curb its spread, the Competent
Authority may do this by E-Scrutiny mode
5. Display of Category wise Seats (Seat Matrix) available for CAP Rounds; The competent authority
shall publish the information on the website about institutes.
6. Filling up and Confirmation of Online Option Form having preferences of Colleges/Institutes.
7. Display of Provisional Allotment of respective CAP Rounds indicating allotted institute
8. If a candidate is allotted the seat as per his first preference, such allotment shall be auto freezed
and the candidate shall accept the allotment so made.
9. Candidate who have been allotted seat other than the first preference given by the candidate,
Candidate can Freeze it AND they are not eligible for further rounds
OR
Candidate can float it AND they are eligible for further rounds Total 3 CAP round is conducted by
DTE.
